Scope of services : based on the description of work above, we propose the following scope of services: Attend kick-off meeting with the owner's representatives to review project requirements. Topographic survey of the existing parking lots, utilities, access drives, sidewalk, and other topographic features Place sd one call Meet with b&g staff on-site to go over estimated locations of on-site utilities Establish project control points and/or benchmarks Boundary survey to determine property lines directly adjacent to project area Coordinate applicable codes (2010 ada standards for accessible design). Drainage analysis, as required, to determine capacity of existing storm sewer system. Coordinate with utility televising contractor to review existing storm sewer system cctv footage to determine condition. Soil borings and geotechnical analysis: see attachment for proposed scope Site lighting and electrical: see attachment for proposed scope Prepare construction plans. Plan sheets to include: Title sheet Construction notes The state of south dakota ("state"), acting through owner and its representative ose, hereby enters into this agreement for services with architect/engineer in consideration and pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein. Whereas, state and architect/engineer intend to: design and construction administration for a reconstruction of the existing parking lot located at the becker-hansen building. This will also include a review of the existing systems. If in the construction phase the contractor's completion date is exceeded, and if liquidated damages are assessed architect/engineer will be compensated for its extra services beyond the completion date by sharing a negotiated portion of said liquidated damages. Architect/engineer's obligations under the agreement documents shall commence upon the execution hereof by all signatories and, if all other terms and conditions are satisfied, shall end on november 15, 2026 unless otherwise terminated or extended pursuant to the terms hereof, except for the architect/engineer's obligations under parts ix, xi, and xii of this agreement, which by their terms survive the completion of the project and part x.A.2, which shall be continued for a minimum of 3 years after the date of the certification of the final architect/engineer's payment request. State reserves the right to reject any person from performing services under this agreement who state believes would be detrimental to the services, presents insufficient skills, presents inappropriate behavior or is considered by state to be a security risk. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
