Renovation of a municipal facility in Chico, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of October 22, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This project consists of removal and replacement of existing floor to ceiling windows with CMU block wall and under-eave windows, and repair and replacement of any and all existing finishes as required on the eastern wall of the City of Chico Council Chambers (421 Main St, Chico CA 95928). The Contractor shall provide all necessary permits, labor, materials and required equipment to complete said work. The term of the Contract shall be 120 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Questions and Requests for Information regarding the project must be submitted through the online Responses to questions will be posted on the bid site. Questions and Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00 P.M. five (5) calendar days prior to bid opening. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish to the City evidence of insurance coverage(s) in full compliance with the provisions of the Contract documents. At the City's discretion, a Performance Bond and/or Labor & Materials Bond may be required. The Contractor shall possess a B-General Building Contractor License issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). A Class A-General Engineering Contractor License is preferred. The contractor shall maintain all licenses in a current status for the duration of the project. Deadline for written questions/RFIs: October 10, 2025 at 5:00PM Delivery Method: Bids must be delivered via UPS, FedEx, courier service, or hand delivery. Please note that mail delivered via the United States Postal Service (USPS) is not received at this location.
