Remodeling of an educational facility in Fort Collins, Colorado. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 1-square-foot educational facility.
Project Description: Interior remodel of an existing building to convert it into an elementary school. The project is a new single-story school constructed in a structure previously used as a manufacturing facility. The existing building shell is made of 6" tilt-up concrete walls with a ballasted roof over steel deck and joists. Most of the building is set on a 25'x40' grid with existing interior walls only occurring at main entry office wing. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The bidder for whom the work is awarded will be required to execute one (1) electronic copy of the formal agreement with the School, on forms supplied by Axis International Academy, One (1) fully executed copy of the Contractor's Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond if required and furnish the requisite Certificates of Insurance all within five (5) days from the date of the Notice of Award.
