Site work for a water / sewer project in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes complete manhole-to-manhole cured in-place lining of approximately 5,300 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer, approximately 3 tap-in break removals, the location of existing buried manholes as necessary, restoration of disturbed lawn and roadway areas resulting from manhole locating activities, and all necessary appurtenances for said construction. All bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Lower Burrell. Proposals must comply with Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates and all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (for contracts exceeding $25,000), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. The City of Lower Burrell reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
