Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Add a 1-1/2" OR 2" thick warm asphalt 9.5mm wearing course PG 64S-22 0.3<3 million ESALS SRL-H or greater. Add warm mix asphalt 19mm scratch coat where necessary. Furnish and install asphalt millings as road edge backing, compact and seal with bituminous seal coat. All Bidders shall comply with all requirements of Act 127 of 2012, Public Works Employment Verification Act, prior to award of Contract. The Contract work shall be completed by October 15, 2026. After Contract work is completed , approved, and accepted, the Contractor shall present a one-year maintenance bond in the name of Upper Burrell Township and in the amount equal to one hundred percent ( 100%) of the final Contract payment price. The one-year maintenance period shall begin on the date that the Contract work is accepted by the Township. The Contractor shall also provide the Township with a Consent of Surety to Final Payment at the time of the maintenance bond submittal. Bonds: Certified Check required, 10% Bid Bond.
