Renovation of an educational facility in Tacoma, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 191,800-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The project generally involves the replacement of flooring and repainting at select classrooms throughout the building, upgrading the lighting system to LED throughout the building, replacement of the swimming pool boiler, and select miscellaneous renovations within the facility. Interested firms are to provide Design-Build services utilizing the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) delivery method. Firms with previous PDB or similar alternative construction delivery experience are encouraged to submit. During the project, the Design-Builder will collaborate with Tacoma Public Schools staff and consultants to achieve project objectives. Interested parties may download the RFQ from the District's Bonfire Bid Management website and are instructed to register using at least one of the specified classification/commodity codes applicable for their firm. Responses will be received by the Tacoma School District No. 10, Purchasing Department until 2:00pm on the specified date. Questions Due Date: Oct 24th 2025, 2:00 PM PDT
