The Escambia County Waste Services Department located at 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL 32533 is looking for a qualified contractor to complete a landfill gas expansion project. The project requires a qualified contractor to complete a landfill gas expansion project for the Escambia County Waste Services Department. The scope of work includes survey work and system layout; installation of below grade Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) gas, air, condensate lines; drilling extraction wells; excavation and preservation of existing infrastructure; abandonment of identified existing facilities if needed; and connection of new facilities to existing facilities. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals, and for performing all work necessary to complete the project, in place and ready for service in accordance with the specified plans and technical specifications. The project work to be performed by the Contractor consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, incidentals, and performing all work necessary to complete the project, in place and ready for service in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared therefore and entitled "2025 Landfill Gas Collection and Control System Expansion". The work generally includes but is not limited to the following items: 1. Construction staking/system layout/surveying prior to construction. 2. Installing below grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) LFG laterals and header, air supply line, and dewatering discharge line. Header appurtenances also to be installed include, but are not limited to, blind flanges, and condensate sumps. 3. Installing dual dewatering discharge line cleanouts. 4. Supplying gas wellheads, including fittings, valves, tubing, hoses, clamps, regulators and filters, and related appurtenances. 5. Installing condensate sump and pump. 6. Existing Dewatering discharge and leachate cleanout tie-in, including excavating, backfill, placement of pipe, wellheads, fittings and related appurtenances. 7. Repairing access roads in areas impacted by construction activities. 8. Grading, seeding & sodding, and restoring site conditions (if applicable). 9. Connection of the GCCS Expansion to the existing GCCS. 10. System start-up and testing. 11. Conformance surveying 12. Providing as-built documentation (record drawings).
