Bids are being solicited for new drinking fountains, filtered faucets, removal, and installation of new equipment. Proposals must be made in full conformity with all specified conditions. Planning and review of all mandated permitting will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. Work must be completed and invoiced by May 1, 2026. Two copies of the Bid Proposal Form should be addressed as directed; one copy should be retained for the bidder's files. Bids must respond to all sections to be considered. Bids may be withdrawn prior to scheduled opening; proposals must remain firm for sixty days. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularity, or award the contract for reasons of uniformity, delivery time, or preference, not necessarily to the low bidder. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for prospective bidders. The project is subject to federal Davis-Bacon Act requirements, including prevailing wage payment, certified payroll, and applicable disclosures, such as familial relationships and Iran Linked Business status. Sales are tax exempt. All bid prices should be F.O.B., Middleville, Michigan, and include all aspects of installation and removal where applicable.
