Remove two existing fire hydrants, install three new fire hydrants, and install one new 1-inch air release valve. Other work includes demolition work, traffic control, installation of various water line fittings and appurtenances, removal and replacement of ac pavement, roadway excavation, shoulder excavation, roadway striping and landscaping. Water line parts and appurtenances are owner-supplied A Bid Security executed in favor of the Owner in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the Bid is required Bid Security is to be forfeited as fixed and liquidated damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a Contract and provide suitable insurance certificates, bonds, and other required documents for the faithful performance of the work in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held.
