FMS 10 Rollup Door Repair - Los Angeles All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Joy Lubic, at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 12/9/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 37285. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the FMS 10 Rollup Door Repair - Los Angeles located at Los Angeles Armory, 1300 Federal Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025. Work to include: The Contractor shall provide personnel, materials, equipment, tools, and other items to ensure the proper Roll Up Door repairs for Facility Maintenance Shop (FMS) 10 at the Los Angeles Armory A PAYMENT BOND, Standard Form 807, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $25,000.00. A PERFORMANCE BOND, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $10,000.00 and progress payments will be made. A BID BOND, in the amount of at least 10% of the bid amount must be submitted by the contractor with the Proposal Form if the contract exceeds $25,000.00 utilizing a bond form provided by the Surety. Perform Roll Up Door Repair for the Facility Maintenance Shop (FMS) 10 at the Los Angeles Armory site which includes the following: A. Demo work o Remove and dispose of all existing old safety devices at all six bay door locations o Remove and dispose of all existing old control stations at all six bay door locations B. Bay #1: o Remove and dispose non-operational (NONOP) door motor operator o Furnish and install a new 1 HP door motor to replace existing NONOP motor with like or better and to match existing configuration as much as possible o Perform function check of roll up door motor and safety systems to confirm proper operation C. Service all six bays roll up door curtains to ensure proper operation to include: o Adjust and tighten all items related to the Tensioning devices on both ends of all roll up door curtains o Adjust, tightening and lubricate all gear chains connecting door curtain and door motor o Service existing door motor to ensure proper operation of Field Adjustable Built-in Functions o Lubricate all door rails D. Furnish and install new safety devices with like or better to match existing configuration as much as possible for all six bays roll up doors which include the following: o New Photos eyes o New Wireless obstruction sensing devices o New Anti-entrapment /safety devices. E. Furnish and install new door opener push open/close/stop button control stations with like or better to match existing configuration as much as possible at six bays roll up door curtains. F. Perform function check of all six bays roll up door curtains, motors and safety systems to ensure proper operation. G. All work shall be performed and accomplished in accordance with all current Local, State and Federal building codes and regulations, attached detail drawings and specifications contained herein. H. Clean up area and remove all construction debris from site LOCATION: A. 1300 Federal Ave., Los Angeles, CA o FMS 10 building III. DURATION A. Contractor will have six (6) months to perform work
