A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This work is for furnishing replacement fans and capacitors in accordance with bid specifications and other identified documents. Services for fan replacement include: checking all nuts, bolts, screws, and connections for heat discoloration; verifying new fans/blowers prior to installation; cleaning the fan/blower assembly area; inspecting wiring for loose connections and heat discoloration and replacing if necessary; ensuring all fan and mechanical connections are properly torqued; disposing of removed fans/blowers upon request and at time of service; and reviewing system performance with the customer. Services for capacitor replacement include: checking all nuts, bolts, screws, and connectors for tightness and heat discoloration; verifying new capacitor values prior to installation; cleaning capacitor decks and buss bars; recording AC ripple voltage and current before and after replacement; replacing DC buss filter capacitors; inspecting DC capacitor wiring for loose connections and heat discoloration and replacing if necessary; properly torquing all capacitor connections; recording new capacitor date codes; forming new DC capacitors; performing a thermal scan of capacitor decks and connections; disposing of removed capacitors upon request and at time of service; and reviewing system performance with the customer. Technicians must have completed the appropriate Vertiv courses. Bidders must copy/paste product descriptions as provided or type their own, provide a letter of certification from the manufacturer or authorized distributor/dealer with their bid affirming warranty support, and ensure all items match and intermember with equipment now in use. Bids must be submitted electronically through the eRSP system, and only responses submitted through eRSP will be accepted. Review all required forms in the eRSP vendor checklist and submit them as directed. Delivery of goods and services shall not exceed 120 calendar days from receipt of order. All boxes must be correctly labeled. Items are subject to inspection by department personnel. Bids are subject to acceptance for a period of 90 days. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, but award is not effective until a final analysis and evaluation have been confirmed and an actual purchase order or contractual document has been issued.
