Furnishing of materials to install fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) duct assembly to intermember with the emergency chlorine dry scrubber at Los Angeles Aqueduct Filtration Plant, in accordance with attached specifications and drawings. Associated materials include providing fiberglass duct, fittings, bond kits, resin system CORVE-8401 with outside coating white gel coat, fiberglass duct connections to DWP steel supports, (4) 14" diameter counterflashings (holes and boxing provided by DWP), shipping, required cranes, and required lifts. Labor for installation of fiberglass ductwork shall be in accordance with attached specifications and drawings. Delivery shall not exceed 120 calendar days from receipt of order. Bidders must submit a complete work plan with details on installation, liner, flanges, dampers, turning vanes, exterior painting, site preparation, bonding coat, corrosion barrier, sealing coating, resin curing, waste removal plan, proposed schedule, evidence of confined space and chemical awareness training, and California contractor's license number. If these are not provided at bidding, the bid will be deemed non-responsive. Payment will be made 30 calendar days after delivery and receipt of corrected invoice. Only responses submitted through the electronic system will be accepted. All forms required at bid submittal, upon request, and for download are listed in the vendor checklist and must be downloaded electronically prior to bid closing. Questions, inquiries, or correspondence regarding this bid shall be conducted using the system’s Q&A functionality. Bids are subject to acceptance by the department for a period of 90 days. The contractor shall comply and require all subcontractors to comply with safety requirements, submittal of safety compliance certificates, and have an effective injury and illness prevention program in compliance with applicable regulations. The contractor shall have a written COVID-19 transmission control plan incorporating requirements from relevant health authorities. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary safety equipment and complying with all applicable regulations.
