This project is for furnishing rubbish waste collection and removal services for the Department of Water and Power, Southern Aqueduct Region for a period of one year with two one-year renewal options. Services required include the monthly servicing of 3-cubic yard bins at multiple locations, with varying frequencies and quantities as specified, including drop-off, pick-up, related charges, and dump fees. Provision for roll-off container services is also included for specific waste types, with fees for overweight, rental beyond allotted time, and miscellaneous disposal costs. Delivery is required within three calendar days from receipt of order and will only be accepted during specified business hours, excluding holidays. Delivery tickets, uniquely numbered with all specified information, must be provided and retained by the Department’s representative. Invoices, accompanied by delivery tickets, are required monthly, with sales or use taxes stated separately. Only responses submitted through the designated bidding system (ERSP) will be accepted, and all forms required for submittal, upon request, and for download must be accessed via the system's vendor checklist page. Any bid proposing alternatives to specified manufacturers or part numbers must be accompanied by supporting literature or specifications. Award will be based on the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder for all items combined, as a single contract. Bidders must comply with all terms regarding affirmative action, assignment prohibition, insurance, and other Department policies and may be subject to auditing for compliance. Price(s) or discount(s) quoted are to be firm and will not include sales/use tax or federal excise tax unless otherwise specified. The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
