MINOR PLUMBING MODIFICATIONS SHALL BE MADE AT IMPACTED SINK LOCATIONS TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW CASEWORK EQUIPMENT AND PLUMBING SINK FIXTURES. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid (not to exceed $20,000). Each proposal must include a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating that it will provide separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum, and a Maintenance Bond. Plumbing and Drainage System Work includes: a. Piping servicing domestic water piping, drainage system and connection of equipment tied into the above types of systems and including all work in accordance with Drawings and Part-4 Specification sections. 1) Work shall include demolition and removals, as indicated or required, to allow for new construction. 2) Work shall include reinstallation, cutting, patching, finishing and repair work associated with Plumbing and Drainage system work, as indicated or required, cutting, alterations and replacement work, where indicated or required.
