Renovation of a mixed-use development in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The contractor shall provide construction services in accordance with the Statement of Work for Project Number 546-23-105 to create redundancy capacity in the existing chilled water, condenser water, and auxiliary systems. Work includes adding a new 1,250-ton water-cooled chiller on the second level of the building addition, installing a new two-cell cooling tower on the roof, and placing new electrical gear on the third level. The fourth level will house an additional electrical generator procured under a separate project. The contractor shall fully prepare the site for operations based on the 100% design, narrative, addendum, and specifications, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnishing all labor and materials, and completing all required tasks. The period of performance is 730 calendar days from the notice to proceed. This procurement is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and contractors must be actively registered in SAM.gov and the Veteran Small Business Administration at the time of proposal submission and award. Funds are not currently available and no award will be made until appropriated funds become available. A site visit is scheduled for March 18, 2025, and RFIs are due March 25, 2026, with proposals due April 13, 2026. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000, and the applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0M. **Location:** Bruce W. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFIs): Questions shall be submitted by the prime contractor through email to the Point of Contact listed above. No questions by telephone will be accepted. The cutoff for submission of questions is 11:00 AM EST on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
