Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Augusta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will be funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agencys (FEMA) and focus on restoring community safety, accessibility, and storm resilience following the severe impacts of Hurricane Helene. The FEMA Sidewalk Repair Project focuses on repairing and replacing sidewalks, curb and gutter or any other concrete structures as outlined that sustained damage due to severe weather, flooding, over rooting of tees and storm impacts. The work includes the removal and replacement of damaged concrete panels, curb and gutter restoration, ADA-compliant ramp improvements, and site stabilization as needed. This project aims to restore safe pedestrian access and ensure compliance with ADA and FEMA Public Assistance standards, enhancing the overall walkability and resilience of Augusta's neighborhoods. All work under this bid shall be paid on a Lump Sum (LS) basis. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all mobilization labor, equipment, materials, supervision, traffic control and incidentals necessary to complete the work as described in the scope. No additional amount or claim for extra compensation will be considered or paid beyond the approved lump sum price. Sealed bids are solicited for furnishing concrete flatwork repair related to Hurricane Helene storm damage for Augusta, GA - Engineering and Environmental Services Department. All submittals must be received at the designated Augusta, GA Procurement Department office. A 5% bid bond and bidders' qualifications are required with submission. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. All bids must comply with specific requirements, including the number of copies, timing of submission, required financial data, and any other requirements set by the Procurement Department. The Georgia E-Verify law applies, requiring contractors and subcontractors for public contracts over $2,499 in value to enroll in E-Verify, unless exempt by law. Acquisition of bid documents should be done only through the official sources to ensure accurate bidding information. No bids will be accepted by email; all bids must be submitted via mail or hand delivery during business hours. Questions regarding the bid must be submitted in writing to the office of the Procurement Department.
