Sealed bids are sought for furnishing Kitchen Equipment for Charles B. Webster Detention Center for the Augusta, GA Sheriff's Office. All specific requirements in the invitation to bid, including the number of copies needed, timing of submission, required financial data, and other requirements from the Procurement Department, are material conditions of the bid and not subject to waiver or modification by the Procurement Director. To obtain bid documents, they must be acquired from the Augusta, GA Procurement Department only. Bids must be received by mail or hand delivery, not by fax or email, and should be marked with the BID number on the outside of the envelope. Contractors and sub-contractors must comply with Georgia E-Verify regulations and submit the required contractor affidavit as part of their bid if applicable. No bids may be withdrawn for ninety days after bids have been opened, pending contract execution with the successful bidder. For site visits, advance contact is required. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Department by the stated deadline.
