**As of January 20, 2026, the awarded contractor is Jokerst Inc., but the awarded amount is not yet available.** The scope of work includes water main and street improvements to multiple streets within the City of Pevely, Missouri, and provides for water system improvements, pavement repair, pavement preparation, asphalt overlay, traffic control, and other incidental items and work described in the project manual or reasonably inferable therefrom. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming the business entity's enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program, confirming that all employees working for the contracted services are not illegal immigrants. Upon signing the contract, the contractor and any subcontractor must provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. Bidders must not knowingly employ unauthorized aliens. The City of Pevely will ensure that businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals have full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The owner intends to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities in its best interest.
