Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Community Development Rehabilitations - 2 Locations The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. This project is funded 100% by CDBG funds and therefore subject to Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Law. SCOPE OF WORK Lead Hazard Control: A qualified Missouri licensed lead abatement contractor will perform removal, handling, and disposal of all lead containing components and paint chips. The lead abatement contractor must be pre-approved in writing by the project manager before the project will be released. All Notices shall be the responsibility of the Lead Abatement Contractor. Workers and Occupants shall be protected using procedures performed in compliance with the HUD Guidelines, OSHA, and EPA Regulations. Site cleanup and the passage of Clearance tests will be required before payment will be made. Set up a catch/containment area around the exterior using 6-mil poly extending out from the foundation 15 or as far out as practical to collect and dispose of paint chips and dust.
