Remodeling of a swimming pool in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade swimming pool.
The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for Aquatic Park Pool Painting. The work generally consists of surface preparation and painting for the zero depth entry pool and lazy river pool at the St. Joseph Aquatic Park. Bid proposals must be submitted electronically through the city's electronic bidding system. A mandatory prebid conference will be held at the St. Joseph Aquatic Park. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis, and a bid security of five percent (5%) is required. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Maintenance Bond and a Payment Bond. Bidders must comply with wage rates, equal opportunity in employment, all laws and terms in the contract's general conditions, and nondiscrimination requirements. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date fixed for opening bids. The project is subject to requirements of R.S.Mo. 292.675 regarding OSHA-approved safety training for on-site employees. Special needs should be addressed through advance notification to the city. Question Deadline 11/18/2025 at 11:00 AM CT Iterpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the City in response to such questions will be issued through the electronic bidding system.
