Large scale water meter replacement and MXU installation. It is the intent of the City of Wyoming to receive bids for a turnkey water meter replacement and MXU (endpoint) installation project to expand the City's Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) system and replace water meters nearing or at the end of their useful life. All water meters and MXUs will be supplied by the City. Residential cross-connection survey pricing is also being requested as part of this project. The selected contractor shall furnish all supervision, Labor, equipment, materials, tools, mobilization, and permits as required. All work must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The pre-qualification packets will not be accepted after October 29, 2025. If a pre-qualification packet is not submitted, your company shall not be allowed a copy of the bid specifications. Please allow the City three business days to review your packet. As part of the prequalification process, staff will also review your company'srecent work history with other City departments. The City will contact you to let you know if you are pre-qualified to receive the bid specifications. Pre-Bid Meeting A pre-bid meeting will not be held. Questions, Interpretations and Addenda Questions about or requests for interpretation of this request for bids, any of the plans and specifications, or any bid requirements may be directed via e-mail to Jay.VanDyke@wyomingmi.gov. No questions or interpretations will be issued later than 24 hours before the due date for bids. Questions will not be answered by phone or in other oral communication. Addendums, answers to questions or interpretations that may be of general interest to all Bidders will be emailed to all that received the bid.
