This project is to remodel the Wyoming Senior Center (hereafter referred to as "WSC") kitchen with modern commercial type kitchen equipment located at 2380 DeHoop Avenue, Wyoming, MI 49509. The project is to include all cost associated with the project including supervision, permits, disposal, cleanup, upgrades to code and any needed restoration to damaged areas in and outside of the project area. A. The awarded contractor must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in related work in similar conditions. References of similar work experience shall be provided upon request. B. The awarded contractor will act as the primary contractor on the project and shall be responsible for all work performed by subcontractors. C. The awarded contractor must comply with all City codes, ordinances, and regulations. D. The awarded contractor must clean the site, remove all tools, construction equipment and machinery, and surplus materials within 48 hours of project completion. All property not designated for alteration must be restored to its original condition. E. This project is being funded by a Federal Community Development Block Grant. The winning bidder must comply with all Davis- Bacon requirements. All necessary documentation, including certified payroll reports, must be provided to the City's Community Development Coordinator. F. A mandatory pre-start meeting will be required between the winning bidder and the Community Development Coordinator to discuss Davis-Bacon requirements. G. The winning bidder must possess, (or obtain), a Unique Entity Identifier and active registration on website.
