The Housing Authority of the City of Elkhart, Indiana will receive sealed bids for Riverside Unit Kitchen Renovations at Banneker Heights in Elkhart, Indiana. The work includes renovating apartment kitchens, replacing cabinets, countertops, and range hoods. All prime contractors submitting bids on the project are encouraged to involve qualified minority subcontractors for any portion of the work not performed by the contractor's own forces. All bidders must comply with the HUD Section 3 Clause of regulation 24C.F.R. Part 75; however, Section 3 compliance will not be required if the contract amount does not exceed $200,000. Bids must be received at the specified location by the stated deadline, and late bids will be returned unopened. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and defer acceptance or rejection until financial arrangements are completed.
