Site work for a civil project in Port Orange, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes the construction of a stormwater pump station on City-owned property located at the corner of Commonwealth Boulevard and Westridge Avenue. It also involves the installation of a stormwater force main that will discharge to the Halifax River. Additional improvements include upgrades to the gravity drainage system on the west side of Ridgewood Avenue, extending from Howes Street to Farmbrook Road. The project will also construct a gravity outfall beneath South Ridgewood Avenue, equipped with a backflow prevention device to protect the system from tidal water intrusion. As of October 20, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase. A engineer has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined.
