The Chicago Heights Park District is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide tree removal, stump removal (stump grinding), and tree pruning services in selected locations on Chicago Heights Park District property throughout the City of Chicago Heights. The estimated number of trees and stumps to be removed is 240 and the number of trees to be pruned is 500. This work is scheduled to take place between November 1, 2025, and April 1, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to expand or reduce the Scope of Work. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the proposal title, the Proposer's full legal name, address, and contact information. Bids must include proof of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total project cost, a sworn notarized statement of compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, and a detailed bid proposal outlining the approach, timeline, materials, and costs. The Owner's Form of Contract, included in the proposal specifications, is required for execution and supersedes any other agreements or forms.
