Site work for a water / sewer project in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work comprises furnishing a new centrifugal lift pump for the Chicago Heights lift station building #5, together with all appurtenant, incidental, and associated work. Bidders must comply with the provisions of the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570) as applicable. Any changes to the bid documents will be issued as Addenda to all plan holders. The Bidding and Contract Documents, including Instructions to Bidders, Proposal, Agreement, General Provisions, General Specifications, and Addenda (if any), may be examined at the District office. Copies of these documents may be obtained from the District office free of charge. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interests of the District after examination and canvassing of all bids. The pump shall be delivered by September 30th , 2026 Centrifugal pump for the Chicago Heights Lift Station building #5 1) Flowrate minimum of 5000gpm@40'ft of head. 2) 6-Pole 460Volt dry well submersible motor minimum 84HP, max 112 full load amps. 3) Cast Iron Volute with 12" discharge. 4) Cast or Hard Iron Impeller. 5) Minimum of 10 years of experience with installations of supplied model of pump in the United States. 6) Delivered to Thorn Creek Basin main plant site.
