Demolition for a retail development in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a retail development.
The work consists of the asbestos removal, demolition, clean up, lot leveling, and greening of the commercial structure located at 560 West Lincoln Highway, Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Bidders should submit a single bid proposal for the total cumulative cost of the asbestos removal and complete demolition of the structure. An asbestos inspection report will be provided with the demolition specifications. All bids must include a copy of the bidder's Department of Labor Certificate reflecting participation in the DOL's Apprenticeship Program. This is a Public Works project under Illinois Law and will be subject to the Prevailing Wage Act and Low Responsible Bidder Ordinance. Bidders are encouraged to provide information to assist the City in determining qualifications related to economic development of minority, female, and persons with disabilities owned and operated businesses.
