Site work for a water / sewer project in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited to load, haul, and properly dispose of clean construction debris accumulated on Water Department property. The debris consists of fractured PC concrete, HMA pavement, gravel, and soil, from contractors' work for the City. Disposal must occur at an IEPA authorized Clean Construction or Demolition Debris (CCDD) facility or another site approved by IEPA and Illinois State regulations for CCDD use as fill material. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed, labeled envelope with the contractor's name and address. Bidders should contact Mike Gingerich to be placed on the bid list and receive documents by email. A bid bond or certified check is not required. The successful bidder is not required to furnish a performance or labor and material payment bond but must pay Prevailing Wage and submit certified payroll per the Prevailing Wage Act. Only qualified contractors may bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities or postpone the process as deemed in the City's best interest.
