Reference Number 0000402134 This request for proposal (RFP) is soliciting professional and technical services for the development of comprehensive design and engineering plans to fill gaps in the county's non-motorized trail network. The plans should: Connect greenspace at the coastline of Lake St. Clair to the existing Great Lakes Way Trail Route, crossing I-94 and M-3 and circumvent Selfridge Air National Guard Base Pass through Clinton Township, Mount Clemens, Harrison Township and Chesterfield Township Establish non-motorized trail routes along and near M-3 and I-94 in Mount Clemens, Clinton Township, Harrison Township and Chesterfield Township Identify ways to improve access and alternative transportation options to everyday destinations along M-3 Be developed through consistent collaboration with community stakeholders This plan will inventory current conditions, provide suggested routes and treatments, and provide recommendations and cost estimates for engineering and trail development.
