No definite date for the rebid.** Marin County Board of Supervisors, that the Director of Marin County Parks will receive bids for Cascades Fountain Renovation Project The project generally involves repair and renovation of the existing decorative concrete and stonelined water feature known as the Cascades fountain located within Lagoon Park on the County Civic Center campus in San Rafael. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to: new intake vault, equipment enclosures and pad, water feature pump, ultra-violet water sterilizer, jets, underground piping, electrical improvements, lighting, asphalt and concrete paving, and wood retaining walls Question Deadline 10/29/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via online. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Bidder must visit the work site before submitting a bid. Bidder shall thoroughly investigate the conditions which will be encountered in the project including, but not limited to, existing underground and overhead utilities, steep, rocky terrain, road width, space needed to flag traffic, rip rap, rocky drilling conditions, staging and site access challenges. Bidders may request reasonable accommodation for auxiliary aids by contacting bids@marincounty.gov or by calling (415) 473-6528. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submittal. A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid Opening. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities.
