The work consists of rehabilitating approximately 26,705 feet of existing corroded 10- through 30-inch diameter non-reinforced concrete pipe (NRCP) and reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) on the 56th Street East Trunk, the Avenue "P-8" Trunk, the Avenue "Q" Trunk, Trunk "A", and Trunk "D" Sewers with cured-in-place pipe liner. The project will also rehabilitate 94 manholes with a protective coating system, and all appurtenant work The work of construction must be completed within 340 WORKING DAYS after the date in the Notice to Proceed Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with an approved surety company as surety, payable to Los Angeles County Sanitation District No. 20 or other authorized security provided by Public Contract Code 20784, for an amount equal to at least ten percent of the amount bid as a guaranty that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract satisfactory to the Board of Directors for completing the work contemplated.
