Remodeling of an educational facility in Commerce Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The project consists of remodeling at Northern High School, which includes mechanical work, electrical work, plumbing, site work, and architectural trades. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on forms furnished by the architect, completed in full, sealed in an opaque envelope marked with the name of the bidder and the project name, and addressed to Walled Lake Consolidated School District. Bids may also be submitted electronically via PreconSuite. Each proposal over $31,321 must include a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the proposal sum. Bids must remain firm for sixty days. Successful bidders for proposals of $50,000 or more are required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond by a Treasury listed surety in the amount of 100% of their bid, with the cost included in the proposal. Required sworn and notarized statements for familial relationship disclosure, Iran Economic Sanctions Act compliance, criminal background check compliance, and prevailing wage registration must accompany each bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive any informality or irregularity, or award the contract to other than the low bidder at its sole discretion. Question Deadline 11/06/2025: Should a bidder find discrepancies or ambiguities in, or omissions from the Contract Documents, or should it be in doubt as to their true meaning, it shall notify the Architect or Construction Manager at once, or in any case not less than seven (7) days before the proposal due date.
