Renovation of a mixed-use development in Commerce Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and educational facility.
The scope of work is to provide turf at the Western High School baseball and softball fields and tennis court surfacing. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on the forms provided by the architect and completed in full. The proposal should be sealed in an opaque envelope and marked with the bidder’s name and project name. Proposals must be delivered to Walled Lake Consolidated School District or submitted electronically through PreconSuite by the specified deadline. A bid bond executed by a Treasury listed surety company or a cashier’s check for at least 5% of the proposal amount is required for bids over $31,321. Proposals must be firm for sixty days. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more must furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond by a Treasury listed surety for 100% of their bid. The cost of the bond should be included in the proposal. Bids must be accompanied by sworn and notarized statements disclosing any familial relationships, compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, and compliance with criminal background checks. Bids missing these statements will not be accepted. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, or award the contract to other than the low bidder, at its sole discretion.
