Remodeling of an educational facility in Commerce Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The Board of Education is seeking firm prime contractor bids for flooring and plumbing trades to facilitate Northern High School remodeling. Bidding documents consist of plans and specifications prepared by TMP Architecture. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on the forms provided, completed in full, sealed in an opaque envelope, and marked with the bidder’s name and project name. A bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the proposal is required for bids over $31,321. Proposals must remain valid for sixty (60) days. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of their bid. Costs for the bond must be included in the proposal. Bids must include sworn and notarized statements disclosing any familial relationship between the owner/employee and any board member/superintendent, affidavits for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Criminal Background Checks, and Prevailing Wage (LEO) Registration. The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part, waive any informality or irregularity, or award the contract to other than the low bidder at its sole discretion.
