Remodeling of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility.

Quotes are being requested under discretionary purchasing authority for facilities, maintenance, repair, and building operations at 22 Pembroke Drive, Binghamton, NY. Attendance at a site visit at the project location is mandatory before submitting a quote. All quotes must be submitted using the provided Official Bid Form and must include a breakdown of materials and labor costs. Prevailing wages must be paid, and all vendors or subcontractors must be registered with the NYS Dept of Labor and submit a copy of the certificate with their quote. The contract will be awarded to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. The awarded vendor must adhere to the outlined time frames and submit certificates of Liability Insurance, Worker's Compensation Insurance, completed Lobbying Law Forms, and a signed Appendix A. Quotes must be submitted no later than the specified due date. The Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject all quotes, and in the event of a tie, the contract will be awarded to the vendor whose bid was received earliest. Any questions or request for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to brm.bids@opwdd.ny.gov. Replace 2 AHU & 2 Condensing Units, line-set & drain piping HVAC System Upgrade. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Upon completion of HVAC System Upgrade, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the Maintenance Supervisor. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Furnish and install (1), 3-ton split system, (1) 2.5-Ton split system with matched equipment (ICP preferred equipment). Add 2 more supply registers in the ceiling of the upstairs living room/dining, kitchen area, modify trunk line as necessary to accommodate the new supply registers. Any new ductwork and piping to be insulated to the current code standards. Provide 10-year Mfg. parts warranty. 2. Furnish & install auxiliary drain pan with flood alarm. 3. Replace all condensate drain piping. 4. Provide new properly sized & insulated line-set. 5. Install new line-set cover on the exterior. 6. Furnish & install properly sized new line voltage disconnect and A/C "whip, and condenser pad. 7. Replace any damaged low voltage wiring as required. 8. All piping must be properly pitched and supported. 9. Contractor responsible for removal and proper disposal of all equipment & debris. 10. Contractor shall warrantee work for a period of one year from date of payment for job. Warrantee shall be for parts and labor. 11. Work shall conform to all applicable codes, be done according to manufacturer's instructions, and follow industry best practices. Work must be completed within 45 days of receiving the purchase order
