Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Marlin, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The City seeks to contract with a qualified Engineering firm to prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications, conduct all necessary interim and final inspections, and assist in application preparation and project implementation of an Economic Development Administration (EDA) contract, if awarded. The scope includes: rehabilitation of existing elevated storage tanks to extend service life and ensure continued reliability of the water system; blasting and coating of the interior and exterior surfaces of each elevated storage tank to protect against corrosion and maintain structural integrity; possible improvements to site security, such as fencing and access control, using any excess funds; installation or replacement of yard piping and valves to enhance system performance; upgrades to the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to improve monitoring, operational efficiency, and resiliency. Proposals should include a statement of qualifications and must be submitted by the specified deadline. The City encourages participation from Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Women Business Enterprises. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals.
