Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Washington, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 6, 2025, bid received were rejected. The project is for the DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT and includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install concrete sidewalks, resurface a concrete wall, install new ADA ramps, install conduit and electrical boxes, and repair or install lights. Proposals must be on the forms provided by the City Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The bid envelope must be clearly marked DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT. Attention is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. The awarded bidder is required to provide a 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for bid review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to contract award.
