Roofing Replacement at Quibbletown Middle School for the Piscataway Board of Education, including all work incidental thereto in accordance with drawings and project manuals. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided in the manner designated and comply with all requirements contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the name of the project clearly marked and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders must be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in C068 - Roofing-Membrane Modified Bitumen and CO76 - Roofing-TPO trades. Subcontractors for Structural Steel, Plumbing, HVAC, and/or Electric must also be prequalified. Proof of contractor's DPMC classification status, compliance with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq., registration with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development per the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, Prevailing Wage Rate Determination, and encouraged inclusion of a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate are required. All questions should be directed to the Architect's office. Question Deadline 11/06/2025: Should any questions arise as to the true meaning of any item noted on the Drawings, Specifications, or other Contract Documents, the Bidder will immediately forward a request in writing to the Architect for interpretation as soon as such question arises. If any, written requests for interpretation are requested at least ten (10) business days, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays excepted prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
