Renovation of an educational facility in Piscataway, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Pre-K Alterations at Fellowship Farms School for the Piscataway Board of Education, 1515 Stelton Road, Piscataway, New Jersey, 08854, in accordance with drawings and project manuals, together with all work incidental thereto as prepared by the architect. Bidders must use and complete all provided bid forms and comply with all requirements in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope with the project name marked on the front and be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. Attendance at the pre-bid conference and site tour is strongly encouraged so all bidders have an equal understanding of the scope of work. Bidders shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in General Construction or General Construction/Alteration and Additions. Subcontractors for Structural Steel, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electric must also be prequalified. Proof of contractor's DPMC classification status is required. All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Compliance with Prevailing Wage Rate Determination and relevant state laws is required. It is encouraged that bids include required registration certificates; if not included, these must be submitted prior to contract award. Note - As per Addendum 1 Project is anticipated to be awarded at the district's board meeting on 01-08-2026.
