Sealed bid proposals will be received for Photovoltaic Installations at Multiple Schools, specifically Quibbletown Middle School and Piscataway High School, in accordance with drawings and project manuals together with all work incidental thereto. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided and comply with all instructions and specifications. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope with the project name clearly indicated and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held, and all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend to ensure an equal understanding of the scope of work involved. The bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in C035 - Solar Energy Systems. Subcontractors named for Structural Steel, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, and/or Electric must be prequalified. Each bid must include proof of Contractor's DPMC classification status. All bidders and subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Rate Determination and are encouraged to include a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate for themselves and their subcontractors. If not included with the bid, these documents must be submitted prior to contract award.
