Contract No.1: Work generally includes construction of an addition to the existing Hillsboro WTP with poured-in-place concrete substructure and precast concrete superstructure with metal truss beam-supported roof system; fully adhered membrane roofing system; procurement and installation of two (2) 4-cell horizontal pressure filters; four (4) pre-membrane cartridge pressure filter vessels, two (2) per reverse osmosis (RO) membrane skid; two (2) RO feedwater pumps, one (1) per RO skid; two (2) RO membrane skids and associated RO membranes; RO clean-in-place and flush systems; procurement, delivery, and installation of two (2) pre-negotiated degasifiers and associated blowers; chemical storage and feed systems; six (6) vertical turbine pumps consisting of four (4) high service pumps, one (1) filter backwash pump, and one (1) house water supply pump; one (1) filter backwash blower system; interior process piping, valves, flow meters, and associated appurtenances; site piping; residuals infiltration pond and pond outfall structure; concrete site paving; asphalt and gravel site access roadways; and site landscape grading and seeding. The costs are $400.00 for printed documents and $40.00 for flash drives, for each set of Documents obtained. Each set of Bidding Documents will include the Project Manual and one (1) complete set of 11x17 inch Drawings. Payment for Bidding Documents is NON-REFUNDABLE. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this regulation concern utilization of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Womens Business Enterprises (WBE), and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and are explained in the specifications. The goal for MBE is 2% of the total dollar value of the project. The goal for WBE is 3% of the total dollar value of the project. A certified check in lieu of a surety company in the amount of 5% of the total project cost will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner.
