**As of January 15th, 2026, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available.** Bids are for forestry mulching and grinding of all mid-story, under-story, standing dead, and dead fall vegetation on an approximately 260 acre parcel of land located within Madison County, Mississippi. The majority of the property is currently mature Loblolly Pine and it is expected that all live mature trees remain in place at the completion of the proposed work. Wetland areas as noted on plans shall be avoided and protected as shown. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the office of the Madison County Economic Development Authority, 135 Mississippi Parkway, Canton, Mississippi 39046. All sealed bids submitted shall be marked on the outside face of the envelope "Bid: THE JUBILEE PROPERTY MULCHING PACKAGE" and shall have the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility Number written on the outside of the envelope. If any envelope is not so marked, said bid shall not be opened or considered. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount equal to 5% of the bid shall be furnished by each bidder as required by the contract documents. Proposals must be qualified under Mississippi laws and shall hold current Certificates of Responsibility as issued by law.
