Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of milling, base repair, asphalt paving, ADA compliant ramps, sidewalk repairs, replacing inlet grates and curb pieces, replacement of existing concrete curb, restoration, striping, tree trimming, and other miscellaneous work. All work must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal forms included with the Contract Documents, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, and addressed to the Township of Brick. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of the Township of Brick for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is required to provide a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of the project. Proposals will only be accepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except for mandatory and non-waivable items set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. The Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or administrative action is taken that could delay or jeopardize the project, and to increase or decrease the quantities specified as detailed in the Specifications. The successful bidder must comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the affirmative action requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq., and the public disclosure provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services or construction will be made to any bidder. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Owner's representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid. Question Deadline 11/12/2025
