**As of January 15, 2026, the project was awarded to Meco Inc., with an awarded amount of $467,653.50.** The project consists of the mill and overlay of St. Lawrence Boulevard between Catalina Drive and the easterly terminus. Improvements include 17,000 SY of HMA milling, 2,050 TN of HMA surface course, traffic striping, and signage. Bids shall be placed in sealed envelopes and must be received by the Owner prior to the specified date and time for Public Bid Opening and Reading. Bidders may mail or hand deliver Bids to the indicated location. A Bid Guarantee is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount indicated in the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). A certificate is required from a surety company stating that it will provide bonds as stated in the Contract Documents. Bidders must comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations, including Affirmative Action, Public Works Contractor Registration, Prevailing Wages, and New Jersey Business Registration Requirements. During performance of this contract, the Contractor must comply with requirements related to worker health and safety. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities, award the contract based on available funds, reject any or all Bids, and waive any immaterial defect or informality in any Bid, if deemed in the best interest of the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price for faithful performance of the work. No interpretation of the meaning of the Contract Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents made to any bidder orally are binding in any way. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the Engineer, at the address included in the advertisement and to be given consideration must be received no later than ten (10) days (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted) prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
