**As of January 15, 2026, the project was awarded to Meco Inc., with an awarded amount of $201,003.50.** The major work items to be completed under the scope of this contract consist of roadway milling and resurfacing for the following sites: Gale Road, Pine Hammock Road, Cedar Point Avenue, Spring Avenue, Sheldon Avenue, and Douglas Road. Bids are to be placed in sealed envelopes and must be received by Township of Brick prior to the indicated date and time for the Public Bid Opening and Reading. Bidders may mail or hand deliver bids to the specified address. A bid guarantee is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount indicated in the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). A certificate from a surety company is required stating it will provide bonds in the form and amounts stated in the contract documents. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration), P.L. 1963, C. 150 (Prevailing Wages), P.L. 2004, C. 57 (New Jersey Business Registration Requirements), and P.L. 2009 C.315. The Township of Brick reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any bid if deemed in the best interest of the Township.
