The project is located on Weld County Road 84, approximately midway between North County Line Road and Weld County Road 15 where the Larimer Co. Canal crosses the road. North Weld County Water District (NWCWD, Owner, or Issuing Office) is requesting Bids for the construction relating to the CR 84 Small Diameter Water Line Boring, (the "Project") . Est. Completion Date: March 1, 2026 The Project includes the following Work: o Horizontal boring at the Larimer County Canal crossing including approximately 310-feet of 14-inch by 0.375-inch steel casing pipe and approximately 369 linear feet of 8-inch C900 DR 14 restrained PVC water line from Sta. 29+07 to Sta. 32+76. o Construction of the 8-inch AWWA C900 DR14 restrained polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water line and associated appurtenances (valves, fittings, etc.) will be done through conventional open trenching located on either side of the Larimer County Canal crossing in the associated Plans. o Installation of two five-foot diameter manholes with gate valves. o Installation of two blowoff valve assemblies. o Related items necessary to facilitate the complete installation of water lines including testing, dewatering, and surface restoration. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount will be required. The Bid Bond will be retained by Owner as liquidated damages should the Successful Bidder fail to enter into a Contract with the Owner in accordance with the Bid. The Successful Bidder for the Project will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. Bidders are hereby advised the Owner reserves the right to not award a Contract until sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids, and Bidders expressly agree to keep their Bids open for the sixty (60) day-time period. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality, technicality or irregularity in any Bid, to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, conditional or alternate Bids, to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, to require statements or other evidence of Bidders' qualifications, including financial statements, and to accept the proposal that is, in the opinion of the Owner, in its best interest. Owner also reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum if it appears in its interest to do so.
