As of November 25, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 18, 2025 at the Board meeting. Scope of work includes a complete mechanical system replacement at Arnold J. Tyler School, including a new VRF system, new ceilings, lighting, casework, technology cabling, and associated MEP work. Lump sum bid proposals will be received for this project at the scheduled time of receipt of bids and will be publicly opened at that time. Bid security in the form of a bid bond only in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Bid security shall be made payable to the Board of Education New Lenox School District 122. Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: NLSD122 CSBO, New Lenox School District 122, Haven Administrative Center, 102 South Cedar Road, New Lenox, Illinois 60451. The Bid Package # must be clearly marked on the envelope. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works.
