This two-year contract consists of cleaning all Type I and Type II catch basins within the city right of way, as well as pipe jetting and hourly catch basin cleaning as outlined in the contract documents. Cleaning will follow a systematic route within identified areas. Catch basin cleaning will consist of vactoring sediment, debris, and/or water from the structure and cleaning of frames and grates/lids. The condition of all Type I and Type II catch basins will be assessed after cleaning. The contract will also cover emergency response and pipe jetting as needed based on an hourly rate. Plans, specifications, addenda, and the plan holders list are available online. Bidders are encouraged to register for automatic email notifications of addenda and to be included on the bidders list. Bidders not registering must periodically check online for addenda. The City of Covington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the bidding, and determine which bid or bidder meets the criteria set forth in the bid documents.
