Site work for a water / sewer project in Covington, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed within sixty (60) working days from the date of commencement under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the installation of 380 linear feet of horizontal direction drilled 14" HD pipe, connection to existing mains in two locations, cut-in tee valves and appurtenances as shown on plans, and surface restoration including grass, native shrubs, gravel, and AC pavement. Bid proposals may be sent by mail or hand delivered to the reception desk before bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond made payable to Covington Water District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
