**As of December 17, 2025 project has been canceled. As of this time it is unknown if when project will rebid. Project has been cancelled. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, rework, and services necessary to remove, dispose of, and replace worn and damaged carpeting in the main walkways of the second and third floors of City Hall, as indicated on the attached floor plans. Areas currently show significant wear, such as fraying, worn patches, and seam separation, requiring full replacement or repair. Exact measurements must be verified during the mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. Work requirements include replacing all damaged or removed coving, preparing all subfloor areas (scraping, leveling, smoothing), ensuring the new carpet closely matches the existing in color, quality, and thickness, installing all seams flush with no transition strips, cleaning and vacuuming all work areas upon completion, and repairing and restoring any damage to existing walls, surfaces, or structures caused during the project. The project will take place in a working office environment, requiring phased and coordinated scheduling with the City's Project Manager to minimize disruption. No staging or storage space will be provided on-site, and work must occur during regular business hours (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM), unless alternative times are approved.
